Hon. Dr. Chuck F. Barlow Jr., Co-Founder and Executive Director of Saving Our Sons & Sisters International, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in youth development.

Since 2009, Mr. Barlow has excelled as the co-founder and executive director of Saving Our Sons & Sisters International. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization improves the lives of youth, veterans, seniors, families and communities through an intergenerational approach to developing a STEM-ready workforce with access to economic opportunities. In addition to this post, Mr. Barlow has found success as the general manager of Next Wave Entertainment Properties since 2007. He garnered additional experience as the community outreach manager for the young professionals ecosystem with TechSquare Labs from 2015 to 2016 and as an assistant camp director, assistant head coach, scout and media specialist with Junior Rank Sports from 2010 to 2013. Mr. Barlow began his career as a physical education and health teacher with the Kipp Achieve Academy from 2006 to 2007.

Mr. Barlow attended Morris Brown College, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He continued his higher education at Nova Southeastern University, where he earned a Master of Science in health services, allied health and health sciences in 2010. In 2022, he was recognized for his professional achievements with an honorary doctorate. Mr. Barlow also holds numerous professional certifications, including his chaplain license, which he earned from the Global Oved Dei Seminary and University in 2018. In addition, he holds a CEU Universal Design for Sustainable Communities Certification from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Health For All Through Primary Care Certification from The Johns Hopkins University and an Executive Leadership Certification from the Institute of National Transformation at Beulah Heights University, among others. Mr. Barlow has been recognized for his professional achievements with an Alumni Award from Morris Brown College in 2014, a Teacher of the Year Award and an Auxiliary Person of the Year Award from DeKalb County Schools in 2009, among further honors. In the coming years, he hopes to continue improving the lives of children and youth through his educational initiatives.
