With more than 20 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Cameron has excelled as the chief executive officer and co-founder of QoS Consulting Solutions since 2019 and transitioned as CEO and founder of CyCam Strategies in 2023. She also serves Vice President of Strategic Services of DirectDefense having previous roles as Director of Risk and Compliance between 2018 and 2020, and as a managing principal consultant from 2015 to 2018 for the same company. Ms. Cameron was appointed and sworn in as an Information Systems Security Officer for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, from 2015 to 2018.
Prior to these positions, Ms. Cameron operated as an Information Systems Security Officer for the Knowledge Consulting Group between 2011 and 2012 and as a security consultant for Accuvant between 2010 and 2011. Moreover, she found success with SAIC as an integration test engineer and an information technology analyst between 2005 and 2010. Likewise affiliated with the Meyerhoff Scholars Program Alumni and Women in Technology, Ms. Cameron began her career as a FOIA clerk with the National Transportation Safety Board from 2000 and 2005.
In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Cameron has accrued several accolades throughout her career, including being honored as the Information System Security Officer of the Year by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She was also celebrated as the Silver Women’s Leader of the Year. Ms. Cameron attributes her success to the team around her, her community, the influence of her parents and her desire to consistently learn. Ms. Cameron is incredibly proud of helping others avoid some of the trappings she encountered during her career transition.
Initially contributing to the security and compliance industry by testing and implementing security requirements, Ms. Cameron eventually co-founded QoS Consulting Solutions, LLC as her experience with various management styles provided her with the experience needed to craft an enjoyable work environment for her employees and clients. She is incredibly proud of helping others avoid some of the trappings she encountered during her career transition. Looking toward the future, Ms. Cameron hopes to expand and build upon QoS Consulting Solutions while launching her next endeavor, a cybersecurity company named CyCam Strategies.
