Peter A. Krikes, PhD, Retired Co-Chairman of Avenue B Productions, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in film production.
Retired since 2016, Dr. Krikes excelled from 1980 to 2016 as the co-chairman of Avenue B Productions, a film and movie production company. In this capacity, he created screenplays and projects. Dr. Krikes always sought new ideas and worked to develop them into successful projects. Alongside this position, he was a professor at Loyola Marymount University from 1980 to 1985 and a partner at Meerson/Krikes.
In preparation for his career, Dr. Krikes attended the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. In 1979, he concluded his higher education with a Doctor of Philosophy in communications and cultural history from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. To keep abreast of his field, he maintained affiliation with the Writers Guild of America.
Among his accomplishments, Dr. Krikes was interviewed for “The First Voyage Home” in 1991 and “The Fifty-Year Mission: The Complete, Uncensored, Unauthorized Oral History of Star Trek: The First 25 Years” in 2016. He served as co-executive producer for “Yoga Hosers” in 2016 and co-writer of “Anna and the King” in 1999. Dr. Krikes was co-screenwriter of “Anna and the King,” “Double Impact” and “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.”
