With nearly five decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Holmes has cultivated a fulfilling career in the fields of architecture and construction. Since 1981, he has operated as a partner at Holmes, King, Kallquist, & Associates, Architects LLP, where he primarily oversees high-end waterfront lodge designing. Adjacent to his primary duties as a leader within his own business, he also served as a co-owner of C.M. Ltd. from 1983 to 2005. At the onset of his career, Mr. Holmes was a partner with Benjamin-Harrington-Holmes Architects from 1974 to 1980.
Outside of his primary professional interests, Mr. Holmes remains active as a civic-minded citizen in his community, regularly participating in the Extreme Home Makeover Project in Geneva, New York. Furthermore, he is a former chairman of the Village of Liverpool Housing Authority. As part of his vocational journey, he also cultivated a formal education, studying at Syracuse University and earning both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture. Well-regarded for his accomplishments, Mr. Holmes was previously honored with the Matthew del Gaudio Medal for Design Planning and Construction Excellence from his alma mater. In light of his fulfilling career, he largely attributes his success to his passion and open-mindedness.
