Marcus A. Stallworth, President and Chief Executive Officer of Stallworth Counseling Services LLC as well as the Director of Training and Implementation, National Consultant and Curriculum Developer at Child Welfare League of America, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in social work and education.
Since 2014, Mr. Stallworth has been the president and chief executive officer of Stallworth Counseling Services LLC. He has also been the director of training and implementation, national consultant and curriculum developer for the Child Welfare League of America since 2013 and co-founder of Welcome 2 Reality LLC since 2011. Alongside these roles, Mr. Stallworth has excelled as an adjunct professor in the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service since 2021. He served as an adjunct professor at the University of Bridgeport from 2010 to 2017, an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut in 2013 and an adjunct professor at Post University from 2006 to 2013.
Mr. Stallworth has found additional success through his written work. He authored numerous articles with CWLA’s Children’s Voice, including “The Power of Words,” “Sharing Resources – One Click at a Time,” “From Texting to Text Lingo,” “The Building Blocks for Effective Co-Parenting” and “Supervision for Success.” For his professional accomplishments, Mr. Stallworth received an Ebenezer D. Basset Humanitarian Award from Central Connecticut State University in 2022. In 2017, 100 Men of Color recognized him with “Marcus Stallworth, LMSW Day.” Mr. Stallworth was also featured in Who’s Who in America in 2023, and was notably a critical figure in saving a man’s life in a near-death experience in that same year.
