Kara L. Brown, Interior Designer with Bergmann Associates Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in space planning and interior design.

Since 2019, Ms. Brown has found success as an interior designer at Bergmann Associates Inc. In this capacity, she handles projects from inception to completion, including interviewing clients and helping them plan their spaces. In support of her career, Ms. Brown graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design. Alongside her formal degree, she holds an NCIDQ certification from the Council for Interior Design Qualifications.

Alongside her work as an interior designer, Ms. Brown has been a color guard instructor for the Medina High School Marching Band since 2019 and for the Chili Color Guard Inc. since 2012. She has served as the color guard caption head for the White Sabers Drum Corps Inc. since 2019 and as a winter guard show designer for Gates Chili Color Guard Inc. since 2012. In addition to these roles, Ms. Brown contributes as a participant in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society.

To keep abreast of her field, Ms. Brown has served on the planning board and as the co-director of the International Interior Design Association in Rochester, New York. In 2012, her work was featured in the Undergraduate Honors Exhibition at the Bevier Gallery. She is also a member of the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps and the Patriots Winterguard.

In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Brown was recognized with an Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar Award from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014. She has also been featured in Who’s Who of Professional Women. Ms. Brown attributes her success to her mentors and her network in interior design. In the coming years, she hopes to continue finding success in her current endeavors.
