William Guthrie Scheible, Chief Executive Officer of the Scheible Group, and Information Engineer Lead and Project Lead of MITRE, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in systems engineering, cyber security and network engineering.
Since 2020, Mr. Scheible has excelled as the chief executive officer of the Scheible Group. He has been a project leader and information engineer lead with MITRE since 2002. In these capacities, he employs his expertise in communications networks, systems engineering, cyber security and network engineering. Mr. Scheible was previously the senior vice president of TNS Inc. from 1999 to 2001 and the chief executive officer and owner of the Scheible Group from 1995 to 1999. From 1993 to 1995, he was the director of informational technology at Alcatel Data Networks, and from 1990 to 1993, he was the director of training for Sprint.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Scheible attended Eastern New Mexico University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and data processing in 1973. He continued his higher education at National Louis University, earning a Master of Science in management in 2003. Alongside his formal degrees, Mr. Scheible earned a CISSP certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium in 2014, an ESEP certification from the International Council on Systems Engineering in 2017 and a Systems Engineering Quality Manager certification from the Quality Management Institute in 2019. Since 2015, he has been the chair of the IEEE, and from 1995 to 2007, he was a committee chair with the Boy Scouts of America. In his spare time, Mr. Scheible enjoys reading, boating, mechanical work, automotive repair, classic cars, motorcycles, flying and car racing.
