Dr. Sonya A. Robinson, President at Congress for Global Communications, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sales and communication.
With decades of experience to her credit, Dr. Robinson currently excels as the president of the Congress for Global Communications. A seasoned veteran in the field of supply chain, purchasing and sales, she had previously found success as a sales manager for General Motors for more than 45 years. Following her retirement from General Motors, she has been active in a number of civil endeavors as well, including as the host of a podcast, “Conversations That Matter,” as well as a speaker for the United Nations at a Children’s Rescue Mission in Nairobi and appointments as both a world civility ambassador and global peace ambassador. To support her professional efforts, Dr. Robinson earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Business at Baker College, which subsequently presented her with an honorary doctorate, and completed diplomacy training, united statesman training and Black Belt speaker training.
Attributing her success to the support and influence of her grandmother, Dr. Robinson has accrued several accolades throughout her impressive career. Appointed as the U.S. Delegate for the First World Civility Conference in Stockholm, Sweden in 2019, she has been additionally recognized as the 2020 Icon Global Newcomer of the Year by iChange Nations, a 2020 Global Voice of Change, the 2021 Person of the Year, the 2022 Woman of Watford and a 2022 World Facility Economic Leader. Furthermore, she has been recently honored with the Emotional Stability Award in 2022, the Global Peace Award in 2022, the International Service Award in 2022, the Sharing My Voice Award and induction in the 2021 World Book of Greatness. Highlighted in I-M Magazine in addition to Legends, Leaders, and Entrepreneurs Magazine, Dr. Robinson hopes to witness the impact of her work in sustainability with the Congress for Global Communication in the immediate future.
