Since 2007, Mr. Chin has excelled as the chief executive officer of the Cidana Corporation, a multimedia software solutions company. Primarily, the company’s products are distributed to automotive industry clients. In his role, Mr. Chin leverages his expertise in project management, sales and marketing to build clientele. Before his current position, he was the vice president of engineering for InterVideo with the Corel Corporation from 1998 to 2007. From 1993 to 1995, he garnered experience as a software engineer with Sigma Designs.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Chin attended National Chiao Tung University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering in 1983. In 1989, he obtained a master’s degree in computer science from California State University. Alongside his primary roles, he contributes as a donor to several charities. In the future, Mr. Chin hopes to explore new frontiers and opportunities to expand his business, possibly in the image processing or aerospace industries. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, hiking, playing golf and dancing.
