Mr. Furnari contributes as a licensed soccer coach with Weston FC since 2009 and shares his knowledge as a professor of economics at the South Florida Campus of Ana G. Méndez University since 2010. From 2000 to 2003, he garnered experience as the president of Ciclomania. He began his career as a project engineer with Procter & Gamble from 1991 to 1993.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Furnari earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela in 1992. In 1994, he graduated from the University of Hartford with a Master of Business Administration. He immigrated to the United States in 2003 and has been a soccer head coach for AYSO Region 644 since 2008. Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Furnari is a founding member of Prospects Del Futuro, a nonprofit organization devoted to ensuring children have access to sports. He attributes his success to consistency, uniqueness, humility and passion for helping others. In the coming years, he hopes to build a partnership with Cisco.
