Ms. Youmans has found success since 2015 as a supervisor for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. She attributes her success to taking ownership of her self-improvement and obeying her calling to God. After garnering experience working in prisons, she pivoted in her career following the birth of her daughter, Abigail.
In preparation for her career, Ms. Youmans attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. In 2011, she obtained a Master of Science in criminal justice, executive leadership and management from Kaplan University. Ms. Youmans is also proud of completing all but her dissertation toward a doctoral degree. In the future, she hopes to continue making a difference in the lives of others.
