Lance Lowrey, Chief Design Officer at S2A Modular, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in architectural design and construction.

With more than 35 years of experience in construction, architectural design, green building, and other fields, Mr. Lowrey has excelled as the chief design officer for S2A Modular, which specializes in the first-ever electrically self-sustaining custom luxury homes, since 2018. Alongside his responsibilities with S2A Modular, he has found further success as the president of the Power House Design Group, through which he has fostered his home design experience since 2009. During this time, Mr. Lowrey has additionally served as the design and engineering manager for Superior Homes LLC from 2016 to 2018, a community relations representative for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) from 2011 to 2017, and as a construction analyst for the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2011.

Prior to these positions, Mr. Lowrey gained valuable expertise as an architectural design manager with Details Homes of Sacramento from 2008 to 2009, a head designer and drafter with MSM Design Group LLC from 2007 to 2008, a senior designer with Haven Custom Homes in 2007 and a drafting and design department manager for Skyline Homes from 2004 to 2007. Having also thrived in an executive position with ZETA Communities, he also worked as a supervising multi-task draftsman with Terace Homes between 1994 and 2004. Mr. Lowrey began his career as a board draftsman with Engineered Composite Technologies from 1988 to 1993.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Lowrey graduated from Nekoosa High School in 1986. He subsequently obtained his bachelor’s degree in commercial arts from Western Wisconsin Technical College in LaCrosse in 1994. Likewise, he earned his PADI certification in 2022. Notably, Mr. Lowrey has been ordained as a minister since 2022 as well.

Outside of his primary career pursuits, Mr. Lowrey contributes to his community by donating trees to be planted, providing sports memorabilia for the USO auction, and raising money for polar plunges for the Special Olympics. Among his proudest professional achievements, he fondly recalls designed a net-positive modular manufacturing plant that builds the modular homes and commercial projects for S2A Modular. Furthermore, he credits his success to accomplishing what he sets out to do and dedicating himself to his craft. Looking toward the future, Mr. Lowrey intends to build upon the success of S2A Modular and Power House Design Group by building additional plants and developing a carbon collection system for houses.
