Allen Ruppel, President at the Unity in Hope School System and Founder at Unity in Motion, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in professional development.
With more than 25 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Ruppel has excelled as the president of the Unity in Hope School System since 2019, a position in which he helps future leaders develop long-term financial strategies and critical business relationships. He has been additionally active as the founder of Unity in Motion since 2000. During this time, he found further success as the executive director of Unity in Motion between 2000 and 2019. Mr. Ruppel began his career in the field of management with The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, for which he worked from 1995 to 2010.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Ruppel proudly served in the U.S. Navy between 1980 and 1984, at which time he was tasked with nuclear submarine navigation. He subsequently pursued an education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, completing coursework in business and managerial economics on the Sheboygan campus in 1987. Mr. Ruppel concluded his studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1989, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Ruppel has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate circles. Notably, he has contributor to the Hope Christian Schools Network as a treasurer and a member of the board of directors. He has also been appointed to the board of directors for the Center for Urban Teaching Inc. and Jacarrie Kicks for Kids. Having established successful organizations in Milwaukee and Pakistan, Mr. Ruppel is currently planning to open a second school in a community center in Islamabad with an emphasis on micro-loans, business training and adult literacy courses.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Ruppel was presented with the Positively Milwaukee Inspiring Veteran Award in 2022. He attributes his success to his ability to get to know the people with which he works, as he is often focused on building long-term relationships in his industry. Among the many highlights of his unique career, he fondly recalls his tenure on the nuclear submarine navigation team for the U.S. Navy as well as his recruitment onto the fifth submarine in history to circumnavigate the globe. Looking toward the future, Mr. Ruppel hopes to recruit new organizations and potential administrative successors who will help maintain Unity in Hope School Systems’ perpetual success while dedicating his spare time to helping Jacarrie Kicks for Kids become self-sustainable.
