Don C. Cleveland, deputy appraiser at Okaloosa County Property Appraiser, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the construction industry.
With two decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Cleveland has cultivated a career of excellence in the fields of construction and logistics. Since 2014, he has operated as a deputy appraiser for the residential department of the Okaloosa County Property Appraiser, where he specializes in new construction, remodeling, demolitions and property alterations. Prior to his current appointment, he excelled as a manager for quality, safety and security and as a human resources representative in logistics at Cygnus Aerospace Inc. from 2010 to 2014, having originally joined the company at the onset of his career in 2004. As part of his professional career, Mr. Cleveland previously pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving an Associate of Science in general education at Troy State University in 1994
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Cleveland honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 2003, during which time he operated in numerous logistics management and leadership positions. To commemorate his service, he was honored with several accolades, including the Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters and the Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters. As part of his dedication to his various professional endeavors, he remains affiliated with the Air Commando Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Air Force Association and the Air Force Sergeants Association, and he is a former member of the Emerald Coast chapter of the Society of Industrial Security Professionals. Attributing his success to his dedicated work ethic and honesty, Mr. Cleveland is proud to have worked alongside many supportive colleagues throughout his career.
