Victor “Vic” Joseph Maggitti Jr., owner and president of Vimco Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of accounting.
With more than six decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Maggitti has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of accounting for the construction industry. Specializing in business finances and financial management, he has served as the owner and president of Vimco Inc. since 1960. Based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, the construction brand is well-regarded as a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality construction supplies and accessories. Likewise, Mr. Maggitti’s company is known for their dedicated services in concrete construction.
Adjacent to his primary duties overseeing daily business operations, Mr. Maggitti handles all accounting responsibilities for the company as well. He also works alongside other construction organizations and product distributors to acquire useful tools and equipment for field work. Some of his most noteworthy providers include Allen Engineering Corporation, Kraft Tool Co. and Zurn Industries LLC. In his other professional pursuits, Mr. Maggitti has also served as a founding member of the Associated Construction Distributors International (ACDI) since 1973. The association stands as a collaboration of independently owned and operated construction brands.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Maggitti pursued a formal education. Over the course of his academic career, he ultimately achieving a master’s degree in accounting at the Villanova School of Business, as part of Villanova University in Pennsylvania, in 1956. Additionally, Mr. Maggitti has remained dedicated to civic advocacy throughout his time in the field. Notably, he donated $20 million to his university as part of their efforts to rebuild the library. The building was subsequently renamed the Vic Maggitti Library in his honor.
From a young age, Mr. Maggitti naturally gravitated toward a career in the field of construction, having worked alongside his tenured father for many years. To wit, he founded his company alongside his father in 1960, and since then, his accomplishments have allowed for an exponential increase in business revenue. Accounting for his achievements, he is also proud of the many ways he has expanded the company over the years. Looking to the future, Mr. Maggitti hopes to see his children and grandchildren enter the family business.
