Mr. Rowe was previously active as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a leading information technology services and consulting company in Norfolk, Virginia, from 2007 to 2008. He subsequently refined his skills as a summer associate in an internship capacity at Wells Fargo and Company in Portland in 2013 and an investment banking associate of mergers and acquisitions with HSBC Bank USA, NA, in New York City between 2014 and 2015. More recently, Mr. Rowe worked as an investment banking associate of consumer and retail at Scott-Macon Group Inc. in New York City from 2016 to 2017, during which time he offered domestic and international consumer and retail companies with comprehensive strategic and financial advice regarding their buy- and sell-side transactions.
Highly educated in law, business administration, public administration, and political science, Mr. Rowe was drawn to his respective field after becoming involved in diplomatic environments as part of the Marine Embassy program. He notably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000 to 2005, a tenure in which he advanced from the rank of sergeant to a staff sergeant. Looking toward the future, Mr. Rowe hopes to become involved with in local government in order to support his community at the local level.
Moreover, Mr. Rowe has contributed to numerous published articles in his areas of expertise as an author and co-author. Among them, he aided in penning an article in Afronomics Law titled “Irreconcilable Differences: Emerging US Military Doctrine and Humanitarian Space” alongside co-author Christine Schweiss in 2021.
Mr. Rowe initially pursued an education at Central Texas College, from which he earned an Associate of Applied Science in criminal justice in 2005. He continued his studies with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government at The George Washington University in 2007. Following these accomplishments, he obtained a Master of Arts in political science and government at Columbia University in 2009, a Master of Public Administration in international relations and affairs at Harvard University in 2011 and a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance at Cornell University in 2014. Most recently, Mr. Rowe graduated from Cornell University with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in business law and regulation in 2023.
Mr. Rowe is currently completing a Master of Applied Data Sciences at the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Business Administration with a focus on finance at Liberty University, and aims to garner a PhD in business administration at Northcentral Universitysoon thereafter. Additional academic pursuits to his credit include credentials as a project management professional, certificates in business law and consumer behavior through Cornell University, certifications in data collection and processing and Google data analytics through Coursera, and proficiency credentials from LexisNexis Proficiency. Likewise, Mr. Rowe has been licensed in the state of New York as a notary public.
To remain aware of the latest developments in the legal field, Mr. Rowe is a member of the American Bar Association. He is also affiliated with the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Political Science Honor Society. In recognition of his military contributions, Mr. Rowe was decorated with a Navy Achievement Medal from the U.S. Marine Corps.
