Anne-Marie Ramsey, retired library manager from the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of library science.
With more than 30 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Ramsey is well-regarded for her practiced expertise in library science. Now retired, she previously operated as the librarian and library manager for the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System for 27 years. During her time in the field, she primarily managed the Upper Marlboro, Maryland, branch of the organization. In her other prior positions, Ms. Ramsey excelled as a teacher at her local church’s school for several years.
In her civil endeavors with her church, Ms. Ramsey has fed more than 900 families, as part of various ongoing charitable events and efforts. As part of her vocational journey, she also pursued a higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree at Trinity College and a Master of Library Science at The Catholic University of America. In honor of her achievements, she was formally recognized by the governor of Maryland for her outstanding contributions to her community as a librarian. Attributing much of her success to the support of her community, Ms. Ramsey is most notably proud of all of her initiatives as a librarian, educator and civic-minded citizen.
