Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Marino is a proven expert in the field of finance. Over the course of his career, he has served as a chief financial officer in both the private and public sectors, utilizing his unique skillset in accounting. As a leader in his industry, he currently serves as the director of finance for the Aspen View Academy, which he joined in 2021, having previously also managed finances for another local school district in the state of Colorado. The Aspen View Academy is well-regarded as a tuition-free learning institute that provides a focused education to children in Castle Rock and Douglas County, Colorado.
Adjacent to his latest professional endeavors, Mr. Marino has also excelled as the chief financial officer of The Law Offices of Shannon J. Marino since 2020. Organized and managed by his wife, the law firm dutifully serves clients in Castle Rock and in Orlando, Florida, providing them with critical counsel and assistance for all manner of legal matters. The firm primarily specializes in personal injury cases, litigation and estate planning, the lattermost of which Mr. Marino is particularly well-versed in.
Mr. Marino remains active in his community as a civic-minded citizen, as well. To wit, he can often be found volunteering as a head coach for local youth baseball and volleyball teams. Furthermore, he continues to support other local animal rescue organizations and charities. As part of his vocational journey, he also pursued a formal education. As part of his academic efforts at Warner University, Mr. Marino earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2004 and a Master of Business Administration in 2008.
In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Marino has largely attributed his success to his education and the guidance of his mentors. Accounting for his accomplishments, he is particularly proud to have played a key role in the purchase and acquisition of three different companies, one international and two domestic, as part of his work with one of his former employers. In the coming years, Mr. Marino looks forward to continuing in his role at the Aspen View Academy. Likewise, he hopes to continue assisting in the growth of his wife’s law firm.
