Mr. Nelson draws on more than 25 years of experience as a proven leader in the field of customer service management for the health care industry. In 2013, he founded LKN Strategies, a revenue cycle management firm that provides consulting services and resources for businesses and other customers. To wit, the company primarily handles items such as health care, medical coding and other administrative outsourcing solutions. As a leader within the company, Mr. Nelson oversees all daily operations for his employees in the Philippines and India. Adjacent to his primary leadership responsibilities, he also previously served as a co-owner and administrator for Beverly Oaks Surgery in Sherman Oaks, California, from 2016 to 2019. During the same timeframe, he was also the vice president of business development at Sovereign Healthcare.
Since beginning his career in the 1990s, Mr. Nelson has worked with many other noteworthy health care brands, including Johnson & Johnson Services Inc., Genentech Inc., Allergan (now with AbbVie Inc.) and UCB S.A. Additionally, he remains active as a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Business Group on Health. Prior to beginning his vocational journey, Mr. Nelson pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in sociology at the University of Montana in 1993. Having received numerous awards for his work in the pharmaceutical industry, he has largely attributed his success to his dedicated work ethic and the support of his colleagues. In the coming years, Mr. Nelson hopes to continue growing his company by expanding into Africa and Dubai with the assistance of a Fortune 500 organization.
