To support his professional ambitions, Dr. Morris pursued an education at the Virginia Military Institute, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history, with academic and military distinction, in 1969. He concluded his academic efforts at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtaining a Master of Arts in modern European history in 1972 before graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy in modern European history in 1979. Moreover, he accrued a Human Trafficking Awareness Badge, My Role to End Human Trafficking Badge and a Human Trafficking Awareness and Strategy Certification from Justice U in 2021. Among the many highlights of his career, Dr. Morris is incredibly proud to help society deal with complex problems that will be critical to its survival, including by encouraging people to work collaborative ways that will make them overcome their differences and achieve success.
