Recognized for over 10 years of contributions to the field of finance, Mr. Osazuwa has garnered acclaim as the chief executive officer of GlobalWealth Management Initiative Inc. In this capacity, he has assisted middle-to-low-income countries in developing the institutional, market, regulatory and instrumental infrastructures necessary for financial development. Long convinced of a need for financial literacy among the world’s citizenry, Mr. Osazuwa drew inspiration from his upbringing in Nigeria, and previously worked on behalf of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Nigeria and as the lead consultant of the Senate Capital Market Committee for the National Assembly of Nigeria. Likewise dedicated to exemplary legal service, he has also served as a graduate law clerk at the New York Law School, a legal associate at FCStone Markets LLC, a research assistant with the Emory University Law School, and a case manager at the International Organization for Humanitarian Services. In these roles, he has worked to assist minorities in the United States understand the value of their financial resources and how they can utilize equity funding.
Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Osazuwa initially studied at the University of Benin, where he received a Bachelor of Law in 1991. Following this accomplishment, he went on to attend the Nigeria Law School and Lago State University, where he was recognized as a barrister at law and received a postgraduate diploma in maritime law in 1992 and 1999, respectively. Mr. Osazuwa subsequently pursued coursework at Saint Mary’s University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in 2006 and the Emory University School of Law, where he received a Master of Law in 2013. Presently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Juridical Science at the Golden Gate University School of Law. To remain aware of developments in the field, he has maintained his membership with such organizations as the Royal Economic Society and the Association of Capital Market Academics of Nigeria.
Mr. Osazuwa largely attributes his success to his love for humanity. Throughout his career, he has done much on behalf of the indigent community, and has worked diligently to deliver service that exerts a positive impact on the lives of others. Looking toward the future, Mr. Osazuwa hopes to establish an investment banking operation in the United States.
