Ricardo Tervil, senior auditor for the United States Department of Defense, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of finances.
Drawing on more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Tervil has cultivated a career of excellence in the fields of accounting and finance. Since 2002, he has served as a senior auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency of the United States Department of Defense in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. As part of his duties in the field, he excels in executing audits and reviewing financial documentation, in addition to regularly mentoring auditor trainees. Over the course of his career, he has also worked with such notable brands as Verizon, IBM Financing and Neuman Distributors Inc. As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Tervil remains active as the president of the National Association of Black Accountants Inc.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Tervil pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting at the State University of New York at Old Westbury in 1996. He subsequently continued his studies at Bowie State University and achieved a Master of Science in information systems in 1999. Notably, he played collegiate soccer, during which time he was active in the forward, left-wing position. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Tervil holds several pertinent certifications in fraud examination, acquisitions, auditing and international business. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his dedicated work ethic and commitment to numerous professional activities. Accounting for his accomplishments, Mr. Tervil is particularly proud to have worked with many different experts in his field throughout his career.
