Aaron Shane Ordoñez, a deputy sheriff at the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of law enforcement.
Hailing from several years of experience in community policing and leadership, Mr. Ordoñez has earned distinction as a deputy sheriff on behalf of the Grant County Sheriff’s Department. In this capacity, he provides oversight for over 45 members of the department, and works diligently to serve as a positive influence for his community and the people living within it – especially children. Having begun his career as a dispatcher, Mr. Ordoñez went on to work with the Santa Clara Police Department for two years prior to his current role. Well-qualified to conduct his duties, he has been certified in a variety of disciplines, including as a field training officer, DARE instructor, general instructor, and in selective traffic enforcement. Likewise, he is a certified nutritionist via the International Sports Sciences Association, and works outside of his primary vocation as a personal trainer.
Mr. Ordoñez first became involved in his profession due to the influence of his parents, both of whom found success in public service. Over the course of his subsequent career, he is most proud to have exerted a positive impact on the lives of the people of his community. In accounting for his success, he largely credits the fact that he is a quick study, as well as his passion for service and leadership. He has also benefited richly from the tutelage of numerous mentors – including his mother, who, like him, served as a dispatcher. Looking toward the future, Mr. Ordoñez aspires to advance into a supervisory role within the sheriff’s office and attain the necessary training to further avail himself on behalf of his fellow officers and the people they serve.
