Arnold N. Gordon-Bray, a retired brigadier general in the U.S. Army and the founding owner, president, and chief executive officer of ANGB Consulting LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in strategic management.

Mr. Gordon-Bray heeded his daughter’s advice to use his initials as the name of ANGB Consulting LLC, which specializes in management and execution strategies used to help organizations set priorities, focus their energy and resources, and strengthen operations. Drawing on his 35 years as a veteran, Mr. Gordon-Bray is also an adviser to the chancellor of Fayetteville State University for military operations and to other community leaders with whom he discusses military issues, world affairs, veterans’ needs, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, among other vital topics. Previously, he was an executive for nine years at Powerbridge Holdings Inc., where he is a board member.

Highly decorated in the military and as a civilian, a sampling of Mr. Gordon-Bray’s honors includes receiving an honorary doctorate degree in humanities from North Carolina Wesleyan University, the President’s Award at Fayetteville State University, a Distinguished Alumni designation from Central Missouri State University, the Army Defense Meritorious Service Medal (the United States Army’s highest peacetime award), the Defense Superior Service Medal, plus 17 more service medals from the United States. Army.  Along with his extensive list of accomplishments as a military commander, the master parachutist and ranger-qualified officer says he most cherishes “leading America’s sons and daughters” while spearheading operations in Iraq, an act of service he perceives as his greatest defining moment as a human being and as a leader.

Mr. Gordon-Bray earned a master’s degree in international strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College, a Master of strategic studies from Air War College, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Missouri, and a diploma from Waynesville High School. He is extremely active as a leader, volunteer, board member, or a combination of these roles in a myriad of professional, civic, and community organizations including, yet not limited to, Kiwanis International, the Boy Scouts of America, the Committee on Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Association of the United States Army, and the African Diaspora Association.

Ascribing his favorite mantras, “Always bring your A game,” and “Choice is the evidence of love,” to his life, Mr. Gordon-Bray is grateful to his mother and the many individuals who have made all his achievements possible. The married father of two children and one grandchild thanks his wife for being his best friend and most valued source of strength throughout his journey. In the coming years, Mr. Gordon-Bray says he plans to ensure the stability of his family by leaving them a legacy beyond his time in this world.
