Edwin “Eddie” Soto, Director of The Lake County Tech Hub and Business Incubator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nonprofit administration.
Mr. Soto has served as the director of the Lake County Tech Hub and Business Incubator since 2019. This nonprofit organization supports entrepreneurs and businesses within the Greater Waukegan and Lake County, Illinois, region. It provides mentorship and resources to clients and prepares clients for loan and grant funding applications. Mr. Soto has also excelled as the owner of E.S. Online Enterprises Inc. since 2005 and was previously a certified business development advisor with the Small Business Development Center at the College of Lake County from 2009 to 2019. From 1981 to 2006, he garnered experience in clinical coordination management.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Soto attended the College of Lake County, completing coursework in chemistry and biology in 1986. In 2009, he returned to the institution and completed coursework in business and entrepreneurial studies. Alongside his formal studies, Mr. Soto is eminently qualified and holds numerous professional certifications. In 2008, he earned a real estate license in the state of Illinois. He is additionally an IESBGA/SBA Business Specialist and a certified business development advisor, and holds certification in contract negotiation through the U.S. Small Business Administration and Harvard University. In his spare time, Mr. Soto enjoys traveling with his wife.
