Before embarking upon her professional journey in finance, Ms. White-Stevens studied biology, chemistry and music at Ursinus College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 1964. Following this accomplishment, she went on to attain a master’s degree in anatomy and physiology at Temple University in 1965. After relocating to Australia, she became well-versed in financial planning in order to manage her accounts back in the United States. As a member of the Australian-American Club, she noted that many of her fellow members struggled to handle their accounts from overseas. Leveraging her skills accordingly, she availed herself on behalf of others in order to steer them in the right direction, and thus began her career in the field. Eminently well-qualified, Ms. White-Stevens has been certified via the Certified Financial Planner Board, which also certified her as a college funding specialist.
Long motivated by a love for music and song, Ms. White-Stevens has become known for her civic engagement, which encompasses her work as a minister of music at the Lutheran church of Allen, Texas, and past engagements as the director of the Adelaide Hills Youth Choir, and a vocal coach at the Children’s Musical Theater and Opera Group in Adelaide. Additionally, she has also been the president of the Allen Philharmonic Orchestra & Symphony Chorus.
Noted for her contributions to the field, Ms. White-Stevens was recognized as one of the best financial planners in the Dallas area by D Magazine in 2020, and was lauded as the Reader’s Choice by Star Local Media between 2013 and 2022. Among her most cherished achievements, however, she is particularly proud to have simply helped others manage their finances and prepare for a comfortable retirement.
