Since 2015, Mr. Alexanian has found success as the founder and chief executive officer of Blissera Elevators, which has developed a vacuum-based vertical transportation system using an airtight elevator shaft. Since 2009, he has been the founder and chief technology officer of Crossroad Networks. Prior to these roles, Mr. Alexanian was the co-founder and chief executive officer of Ponte Solutions and founder and chief executive officer of Mosaic Systems. He began his career as an engineer with the Institute of Mathematical Machines from 1984 to 1986 and a group manager with the Mars Corporation from 1986 to 1992. From 1994 to 1998, he was a senior member of the consulting staff at Cadence Design Systems.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Alexanian attended Yerevan State University in Armenia, graduating in 2004 with a master’s degree in electronic design automation. Among his accomplishments, he holds three issued U.S. patents in memory architecture and more than 40 pending U.S. patent applications. In the coming years, Mr. Alexanian hopes Blissera Elevators will become the standard and leader in the low-rise elevator market.
