Who's Who of Top Executives

Michael E. Haddad

Title: Vice President
Company: Haddad Management Advisors LLC
Location: Cocoa Beach, Florida, United States

Michael E. Haddad, the vice president at Haddad Management Advisors LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the aerospace industry.

Now serving as a subject matter expert on behalf of the aerospace industry, Mr. Haddad previously distinguished himself across the span of more than three decades in various engineering roles with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at the Kennedy Space Center, during which time he cultivated a wealth of experience regarding the design, development, assembly, integration and real-time mission support procedures for spaceflight hardware. A former astronaut candidate in his own right, he was responsible for communicating with mission specialists during extravehicular activity, processing flight hardware for space station, shuttle, and satellite payloads, and providing systems engineering and integration procedures for flight and ground systems, among many other duties to his credit. Well-regarded for his numerous accomplishments over the course of his career, Mr. Haddad was a multi-time recipient of a High Performance Award from the Space Station Hardware Integration Office, and a winner of the Astronauts’ Silver Snoopy Award in 2001.

Mr. Haddad studied mechanical and aerospace engineering at what is now the University of Central Florida, from which he received a Bachelor of Science in 1982. Following this achievement, he received a Master of Science in industrial engineering and management systems from the aforementioned university in 1994. In accounting for his overall success in the field, he largely credits the providence of luck, as well as his enthusiasm for working on unique projects at NASA – in this capacity, his dedication and attention to detail were often crucial to mission success. Looking toward the future, Mr. Haddad hopes to continue serving as a lead mechanical engineer on the Astro Restoration Project – a volunteer effort of mostly retired NASA employees who seek to restore shuttle mission hardware back to ready condition.
