Hailing from over 15 years of experience in her chosen field, Ms. Hardy has distinguished herself in her role at GreenState Credit Union, where she leverages a wealth of expertise in loss mitigation, risk management, business strategy and banking. Lauded for her deep knowledge of the financial services industry, her dedication and strategic outlook have combined to make her an inestimable resource in all aspects of company operations. Having previously served as an account resolution supervisor and the vice president of her division between 2018 and 2023, Ms. Hardy found success in various financial roles at BMO Transportation Finance and GE Capital, beginning in 2007.
Before venturing onto her career path in finance, Ms. Hardy studied elementary education and teaching at Kirkwood Community College, where she earned an associate degree in 2006. She went on to work as a special education teacher at the Cedar Rapids Community School District, and as a receptionist at the Divine Word College Seminary.
Outside of her primary endeavors, Ms. Hardy serves as part of the diversity, equity and inclusion committee at GreenState Credit Union. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, she also volunteered for an afterschool program for less fortunate children at the Jane Boyd Community Center in Cedar Rapids. Likewise, she functions as an ambassador for Make It Okay, a nonprofit organization that seeks to eliminate negative stigmas surrounding mental health disorders. Additionally, Ms. Hardy maintains her affiliation with such groups as the Receivable Management Network and Women in Leadership.
Among her career accomplishments, Ms. Hardy is particularly gratified to have reached her goals without a bachelor’s degree, having drawn motivation from her passion, initiative, growth and development. Eager to pay it forward, she has gone on to help clients attain a greater sense of financial literacy and improve their quality of life. In accounting for her success, she largely credits her penchant for cultivating the ambitions of others and helping people achieve their professional pursuits. Looking toward the future, Ms. Hardy aspires to continue expanding the scope of her role and serve as a financial consultant on behalf of others.
