Since 2020, Mr. Billa has been the FSI strategy and transformation leader with Deloitte Consulting, before which he was the market sensing and scenario planning leader with the same company since 2018. Mr. Billa began his career with Deloitte Consulting as the head of monitor and head of human capital practice with Deloitte India from 2013 to 2015. He was the head of consulting services with the company in 2016 and has been a principal and partner with Deloitte Consulting.
Alongside his primary roles, Mr. Billa has excelled as a speaker and presenter with Deloitte Consulting. He was also an invited professor to the Imperial College Business School and an instructor in India. Mr. Billa was a partner and head of the commercial leadership team for the Middle East and North Africa with the Monitor Group from 2000 to 2013. He began his professional pursuits as a senior business and corporate strategy manager with Procter & Gamble from 1998 to 2000.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Billa earned a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1996. He later graduated from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad with a Master of Business Administration in 1998. Alongside his formal degrees, Mr. Billa earned an intermediate certification in mathematics and physical sciences from Little Flower Junior College in 1992
Mr. Billa has traveled extensively and worked in more than 30 countries across the globe. Among his achievements, he was involved in superconductivity research during his work as an engineer in India. As a testament to his aptitude, he was one of fewer than 300 students selected for a national scholarship in India at the age of 14. In the coming years, Mr. Billa plans to leverage his global experience to work on his passion for social causes, especially education.
