As an accomplished banking executive, Ms. Perlman has excelled as the managing director of business strategy and management responsible for strategic program execution in the Strategy Office at MUFG Bank Ltd., having previously worked as the managing director and head of mergers and acquisitions integration, operations and technology for the Americas with Union Bank. From 2018 to 2019, she served the same institution as the head of the office of the CIOO, before which she was the managing director of demand management, appropriations, master scheduling and resource planning and has been affiliated with the project management office in the Systems Office of the Americas. Ms. Perlman began her career in banking in 1993, serving as the vice president of Lehman Brothers until 1996. Prior to joining MUFG, she worked at JP Morgan Chase from 1998 to 2012, where she held various positions in home lending borrower’s assistance, global technology infrastructure, global service delivery management and the sourcing advisory group. Most notably, she successfully led cross-functional teams that exceeded stringent requirements imposed by the OCC Consent Order and Settlement with the Attorney’s General, achieving excellent customer service in an accelerated timeline.
In preparation for her accomplished career in banking, Ms. Perlman completed college coursework in biology and chemistry with the State University of New York at Albany in 1987. Alongside her primary roles, she was a past trainer for the equestrian team at the Special Olympics. She also contributed her time to the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. To keep abreast of her field, Ms. Perlman has maintained membership to the Financial Women’s Association. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving and traveling.
