Drawing on more than three decades of experience in the fields of manufacturing and executive recruitment, Mr. Espinosa has distinguished himself as the president and chief executive officer of both Top Notch Finders Inc. and the San Diego, Mexican and Latin American Chapter of Sanford Rose Associates International Inc., an employment agency that has been recognized as one of the top executive search firms in the United States. Driven by a deep and abiding passion for his area of expertise, Mr. Espinosa has come to greatly enjoy helping his clients – be they individuals or organizations – connect the right candidate with the right position. Prior to his current endeavors, he served as a senior managing partner at QualiFind Executive Search from 1999 until 2012, as the executive search director of Corporate Recruiters between 1994 and 1999, and as a private business consultant throughout the early 1990s, among other roles to his credit.
Before venturing onto his professional journey, Mr. Espinosa studied at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, from which he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international relations in 1987. Years later, he went on to attain a master’s degree in international business from CETYS Universidad in 1998. He first became involved in the field of executive recruitment after returning from Japan, where he had served as a translator. Due to the contacts he had made during this time, he was quickly acquired as a talent recruiter, and went on to cultivate further expertise in the manufacturing industry, emotional intelligence, and competition-based interviewing. Eminently qualified in his field, Mr. Espinosa has been certified as an employee retention specialist, a diversity recruiter, as a human resources professional, as a personnel consultant, and as an accredited consultant by various organizations.
Well-regarded for his accomplishments, Mr. Espinosa has spread his knowledge to others in the form of articles contributed to HireCentrix, a full-service education center focuses its efforts on the employment industry. Likewise, he has spoken before audiences at the National Council of the Maquiladora and Manufacturing Export Industry, and more broadly in the field at large. To remain aware of developments in the industry, Mr. Espinosa maintains his affiliation with the Pinnacle Society, of which he is a former board member. Likewise, he is a past member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS).
Among his career accomplishments, Mr. Espinosa is particularly proud to have led his chapter of Sanford Rose, which was named as one of the Top 10 Executive Search Companies in North America by HR Tech Outlook and as one of the Best Executive and Professional Search Firms in America by Forbes, among other plaudits. For his own part, he was also named as the District Director of the Year by NAPS in 2013. In accounting for his success, Mr. Espinosa credits his uncommon facility for languages – he knows Japanese, French, Spanish and English – and his impeccable education in international administration and human resources.
