Paul Charles Thibeault

Title: Project Executive
Company: Phoenix Bay State Construction
Location: Middletown, Rhode Island, United States

Paul Charles Thibeault, a project executive at Phoenix Bay State Construction, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the construction industry.

Hailing from nearly four decades of experience in the construction industry, Mr. Thibeault has distinguished himself through his work at Phoenix Bay State Construction Co. Established in 1974, the company works primarily in the New England region and specializes in various forms of masonry construction, including air/vapor barriers and waterproofing, as well as restoration and renovation. Having initially joined the organization in 2003 as a general field foreman managing manpower, Mr. Thibeault has gone on to excel as a project manager, a senior project manager and a project executive. In the latter capacity, he is responsible for liaising with the upper hierarchy of the company, managing several projects, and various other administrative functions, including monitoring accounting, billing, and project estimates.

Throughout his 43-year career in the field of masonry, Mr. Thibeault has contributed to numerous prominent stone masonry construction and renovation projects, including for the Gillette Stadium, Boston College, The Mandarin Oriental and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to his work with Phoenix, he served with Grande Masonry, a full-service masonry company based in Providence, Rhode Island, from 1980 until 2003. During this time, he benefited richly from the mentorship of his foremen, Manny Pavao and Manny Marks, as well as Al “Sonny” Grande, who initiated his drive to excel in the industry.

Mr. Thibeault initially studied accounting and business management at Rhode Island College for over a year. Following this period, he pivoted toward his current endeavors in stone masonry. Since then, he has learned to listen and learn from his colleagues, as the field of construction remains in flux and industry practices change on a yearly basis. In accounting for his overall success, Mr. Thibeault largely credits his on-the-job learning and his experiences with other people, as every person he has encountered over the years has a fingerprint in his stellar masonry career. Throughout the course of his career, he has long lived by the wisdom that one should never give a job they were not willing to do themselves.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Thibeault aspires to finish his career endeavors on a strong note. Following his retirement, he looks forward to contributing more substantially to charitable efforts and other community functions. Likewise, he hopes to have more time to travel abroad and enjoy what the world has to offer.
