Selected for inclusion in the Wall Street Journal with Marquis Who’s Who, Mr. Golden also fondly recalls convincing the Internal Revenue Service to waive $17 million in penalties for a client whose previous accountant had made a significant mistake in his form filing.

Mr. Golden has attributed his success to remaining true to his roots and core beliefs, the support of his loving spouse and the wealth of business that he receives through referrals from certified public accountants, attorneys and enrolled agents. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud of helping over 200 companies receive tens of millions of dollars in funds as a result of the British Petroleum (BP) oil spill in 2010, an effort in which he only charged an eight percent contingency fee for each claim which allowed these companies to stay afloat amidst the disruption to the tourism business. In the coming years, Mr. Golden hopes to continue growing his business with Golden Tax Relief LLC while planning to release a series of books based on his expertise, beginning with “Mastering the Art of Tax Planning.”
