Hailing from more than a decade of experience in his chosen field, Mr. DeVine has earned distinction through his role at the Franklin American Mortgage Company, a mortgage lender and subsidiary of Citizens Bank. Having initially worked at the accounting office of Walmart in 2012, he went on to join Franklin American in 2015 and rose from a compliance support analyst to an officer in 2023. In this capacity, Mr. DeVine is primarily responsible for running daily reports and providing oversight for those working under his supervision.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. DeVine’s faith is a core part of the foundation of his life and career. He aspires for his story to serve as an example of what can happen when one strives to exhibit excellence on behalf of both their community and vocation. He is deeply involved in various activities at his local place of worship, the First Baptist Church of Keller, where he serves as a tuba player with the church orchestra and as a member of the handbell choir.
A perfectionist by nature, Mr. DeVine largely attributes his success to the love and support of his parents, who instilled within him a sense of discipline and work ethic that has sustained him to this day. Likewise, he credits his ability to empathize with both his colleagues and clients. Among his most cherished accomplishments, he is gratified to have been inducted into the Credo Champion Program of Citizens Bank, which recognizes the company’s top performers. The program, notably, holds an event in Boston at Gillette Stadium, where a tribute dinner is staged and the names of those who received the reward are displayed on a scoreboard.
Mr. DeVine first studied finance at the University of North Texas, from which he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2014. Looking toward the future, he hopes to climb the ranks at his company and obtain a higher leadership role, with his immediate goal being to become an assistant vice president.
