Chief Kenny Pratt, Chief at Marshall County Rescue Squad, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in public service.
With years of experience to his credit, Mr. Pratt has excelled as the chief of the Marshall County Rescue Squad since 2021. He has additionally worked as the county’s coroner, a role that requires him to deliver distressing news to grieving families. Prior to this position, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 10 years upon graduating from high school, completing four combat deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq. Between 2007 and 2009, he was assigned to Camp David, during which time he was active as a guard chief for President George W. Bush. Driven to help his community following his retirement from the military, Mr. Pratt proudly recalls his involvement in a life-saving 45-day operation during an incident at Kentucky Lake during the winter of 2009, an experience that has had a lasting impact on him.
To support his professional endeavors, Mr. Pratt pursued an education at American Military University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2009. Attributing his success to the influence and encouragement of his many mentors as well as his hard work and ethical conduct, he was notably presented with a Presidential Service Badge over the course of his military service. Moreover, he has been recognized as a Kentucky Colonel and recently attended an appreciation dinner for his assistance with a tragic crash of two helicopters, which resulted in the loss of nine service members. In the coming years, Mr. Pratt plans to continue his work with the Marshall County Rescue Squad while shaping its future and preserving its legacy.
