Since 2021, he has excelled as an executive director at The Toledo Clinic, a network of 250 physicians throughout the Toledo, Ohio, region. In his leadership role, he primarily oversees various primary care operations and value-based programs. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Santoro operated as a manager and provider for value, networking and operations at Paramount between 2020 and 2021. He originally joined the entertainment enterprise in 2015 as an operations specialist and also held a role as a team lead for value-based programs and document workflow between 2019 and 2020. Well-regarded for his civic-minded attitude as well, Mr. Santoro regularly volunteers with various local soup kitchens and donates resources to charitable organizations.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Santoro pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Science in biology at Loyola University Chicago in 2009. He subsequently continued his studies at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College and achieved a Master of Science in health care policy management in 2015. As part of his academic efforts, he also notably co-authored a noteworthy paper pertinent to his studies in 2005, titled “Astrocyte Production of the Chemokine Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-2 is Inhibited by the Spice Principle Curcumin at the Level of Gene Transcription.” Attributing much of his success to his persistence and drive to improve, Mr. Santoro is proud to have improved the passive income of primary care workers during his tenure at his company, and he hopes to continue improving the business in the coming years.
