With two decades of experience, Mr. Dugan has thrived as the founder, chief executive officer, and senior leadership consultant with BtR Impact, LLC, since 2022. Before entering that role, he was the director of organizational effectiveness with the Methodist Health System from 2019 to 2022. In 2014, he joined CHRISTUS HEALTH, where he was an educational consultant for talent management from 2014 to 2018 and a manager of learning program execution from 2018 to 2019. He was also an education coordinator for the CHRISTUS Spohn Health System for CHRISTUS Health from 2003 to 2006. Previously, he was an education services facilitator for Serco, Inc. in 2014, a community educator for the Women’s Shelter of South Texas from 2011 to 2014, and the owner and producer of Reel Tours with Online Real Estate Video Tours from 2009 to 2011.
Before starting his professional career, Mr. Dugan served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant, medical specialist, and combat medic from 1999 to 2003. Before entering the U.S. Army, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry-Biology from the University of the Pacific in 1998. Continuing his education, he took post-baccalaureate coursework in business administration at Del Mar College in 2011. He then received a Master of Science in educational technology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christie in 2013. Upon completing his degrees, Mr. Dugan earned an ATD Coaching Certificate and became a certified facilitator in DiSC, fierce conversations, and crucial conversations. In 2019, he became a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Facilitator.
As a testament to his success, Mr. Dugan was named to the Top 50 Dads in Podcasting by Podcast Magazine in 2021. He received an Army Commendation Medal with V Device for Operation Iraqi Freedom from the U.S. Army. In 2015, he was inducted as a member of the Association for Talent Development and the eLearning Guild. Mr. Dugan would like to remain a keynote speaker and participate in workshops in the next five years. He also wants to travel with his wife and complete their bucket list.
