Ronald “Ron” Moore, Retired Assistant Director of Marketing, Facility Operations and Management with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in public administration.
Retired since 2022 after more than 45 years of professional experience, Mr. Moore most recently excelled as the assistant director of marketing, facility operations and management with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services from 2005 to 2022. Prior to this role, he was a sales account representative for BizLife Magazine from 2004 to 2005 and the director of leasing for Showplace LLC from 2001 to 2004. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Moore was a city councilman for the city of High Point, North Carolina. He began his career in 1976 as a distributor and sales administrator with Thomas Built Buses Inc., where he worked until 2000, ending his tenure with the company as the director of sales support and marketing from 1991 to 2000.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Moore attended Guilford Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts in business management in 1966. In 1975, he graduated from High Point University with a Bachelor of Science in business and marketing. Alongside his formal degrees, he earned an Executive Management Certificate from the University of North Carolina Greensboro School of Business in 1993. Mr. Moore served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972, including a tour of duty in South Vietnam from 1970 to 1971. For his service, he was named Airman of the Month at Joint Base Andrews. In the coming years, Mr. Moore hopes to give back to others.
