Title: Chief Executive Officer
Company: Gordavi LLC
Location: Orlando, Florida, United States

Demetra Adams Davis, RN, MSN-Ed, MSHA, the chief executive officer at Gordavi LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of business coaching.

Bearing a wealth of expertise in business coaching, Ms. Davis has distinguished herself through her role at Gordavi LLC, a female, veteran and minority-owned and operated small business that specializes in process improvement, leadership development, diversity and inclusion training, cultivating policies and procedures, and government contracting, among many other areas of expertise. Hailing from a multifaceted background in nursing and military service, Ms. Davis is primarily responsible for handling executive mentorship sessions, through which she helps clients arrive at effective solutions in setting both professional and personal goals for themselves.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Davis served in the United States Air Force as a medical logistics specialist from 1987 to 1991, during which time she learned skills that she would subsequently transfer to her two-decade-long career in nursing. Throughout this period, she attained a bachelor’s degree and registered nurse designation at the University of Texas, Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, as well as a master’s degree in health care administration from Columbia Southern University. Over the course of her career in the health care sector, Ms. Davis came to learn the best practices in not only nursing, but business, leadership and process improvement, which went on to apply to her current endeavors as a business coach.

Outside of her primary professional efforts, Ms. Davis is a published author, having written “U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce,” a book of poetry, in 2023. She is also the president of both Tennessee Urban Outdoors Inc., an advocacy organization that seeks to encourage minority families to embrace outdoor experiences, and Take20ForLife, a suicide prevention organization. Additionally, she is a lifetime member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants.

In accounting for her success, Ms. Davis largely credits the influence of her mother – a single woman who worked diligently and taught her children the importance of giving back to one’s community. Among her most cherished accomplishments, Ms. Davis is particularly proud of her nomination and selection as Top CEO of the Year of 2023 via the International Association of Top Professionals. Looking toward the future, she aspires to continue expanding the scope of operations at Gordavi LLC and acquire more government contracts.
