Gregory L. Kirkham, Lead Technical Advisor with the Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the railroad industry.
Since 2017, Mr. Kirkham has found success as the lead technical advisor with the Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation, also known as Wabtec. In this role, he assists customers with troubleshooting locomotive products offered by the company. Prior to his current position, he garnered experience as the superintendent of mechanical operations for Southern Massachusetts, disciplinary officer and manager of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Commuter Rail from 2007 to 2015. Mr. Kirkham began his career as the assistant manager of a hydraulic shop for Caterpillar Inc. from 1996 to 2001 and later worked as a mechanical foreman for Kansas City Southern Railway Company from 2001 to 2007.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Kirkham attended Bossier Parish Community College and completed coursework in business management. He completed the Management Certification Program in Railway Management at Michigan State University in 2010 and is additionally a Certified Diversity and Harassment Training Instructor through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mr. Kirkham served in the U.S. Navy from 2002 to 2006 and continued to serve with the U.S. Naval Construction Battalions, commonly known as the Navy Seabees, for an additional decade. For his 14 years of service, he was recognized with a Navy Achievement Medal. In his spare time, Mr. Kirkham enjoys investing and helping veterans.
