After 10 years in this role, he worked as a senior field technician for ECP Technical Services from 2004 to 2006 and a P&C technician for the American Electric Power Company Inc. from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Rivadeneyra was a sales engineer for Schneider Electric from 2008 to 2009, a senior field technician for TPS South Texas LLC from 2009 to 2015, a senior renewable high-voltage technician for the Duke Energy Corporation from 2015 to 2016 and a senior field technician for Tidal Power Services LLC in 2016. Since 2016, he has employed his expertise as a senior renewables high-voltage trainer for the Duke Energy Corporation.
In support of his professional pursuits, Mr. Rivadeneyra is eminently qualified in his field. He holds certifications in fiber training, electrical relay training and electrical cable high-voltage training. From 1989 to 1992, he served in the U.S. Navy as an electrician’s mate, working aboard an aircraft carrier. Among his achievements, Mr. Rivadeneyra is proudest of having had repeat customers for decades. In his spare time, he enjoys reading.
