Narine Sarkissian, President, Chief Executive Officer and Owner of the U.S. Ling Institute, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in language education.
Since 2001, Ms. Sarkissian has found success as the president, chief executive officer and owner of the U.S. Ling Institute. English is her third language, as she grew up in the former Soviet Union and is fluent in Armenian and Russian. At her mother’s encouragement, she learned English. Prior to her current role, Ms. Sarkissian garnered experience as a corporate finance analyst with the Huntsman Chemical Corp. from 1998 to 2001. To keep abreast of her career, she maintains membership with EnglishUSA, the Murray Chamber, the TESOL International Association and NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
For her professional achievements, Ms. Sarkissian was named to the Top 20 Outstanding Women CEOs by The Women Leaders Magazine in 2022. She has been featured in Who’s Who of Professional Women and was inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry. In preparation for her career, Ms. Sarkissian attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a master’s degree in linguistics in 1994. At the same institution, she earned a Master of Business Administration in 1996. Alongside her formal degrees, Ms. Sarkissian has been accredited through the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training. In the future, she hopes to open a branch of the U.S. Ling Institute in Florida.
