Paul Bugajski, executive director of operations at Common Citizen has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cannabis manufacturing and products.
With nearly 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Bugajski has excelled as director of operations at Common Citizen since 2021. He began his career as a master blackbelt, engineering leader, and med voltage switchgear at GE Infrastructure from 1996 to 2001. He worked for Therma-Tru Doors as a director of corporate lean six sigma and training from 2001 to 2003 before transitioning to Ingersoll Rand as curriculum manager and master blackbelt from 2003 to 2007.
Mr. Bugajski contributed to IDEX Corporation as director of operational excellence and quality from 2007 to 2010 and then as director of operations from 2009 to 2012. He was further associated with Meijer as a master blackbelt from 2012 to 2017 and as senior engineer of operational excellence from 2017 to 2018. He continued his career as value stream manager and business unit leader at Arnprior Aerospace Incorporated in 2018 before shifting to Eaton where he found success as OE value stream manager in 2019 and as senior operations and CI manager from 2019 to 2021.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Bugajski pursued an education at Lake Superior State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical and electronics engineering in 1989. He continued his academic efforts at GE University, where he completed the advanced manager program in business administration and management in 1998. He holds a PMI certification from the Project Management Institute in 1999. Moreover, he was certified as a master blackbelt by GE in 2000 and certified in mix model lean value streams and shared resources from Duggan and Associates in 2010.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Bugajski has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He has held the role of officer member at the Knights of Columbus since 2009. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise, including as a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Project Management Institute.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Bugajski has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with the Chairman’s Award for Operational Excellence by the DEX Corporation in 2008, the Best Cultivator of 2023 by the Green Market Report, and achieved the rank of Master Black Belt Six Sigma.
