Curt R. Bigelow, managing director at MBO Consulting, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in strategy.
With nearly 45 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Bigelow has excelled as managing director at MBO Consulting since 2023. He began his career at Lockheed Martin Corporation from 1980 to 2000, working in strategy, launch operations, finance, engineering, business development, information technology, and communications. He contributed as partner at Accenture from 2000 to 2013. At Big Dunks LLC, he held the role of chief operating officer from 2013 to 2016. He contributed to PwC as managing director from 2015 to 2023.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Bigelow pursued an education at Fort Lewis College where he earned a Bachelor of Art in business administration in 1984. In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Bigelow remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a board member at the School of Business Administration at Fort Lewis College and contributed as a fundraiser for the National Western Complex.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Bigelow has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Controller’s Achievement Award and won multiple bodybuilding competitions. He partnered with Fortune 500 leaders from around the world and produced the 2017 documentary, “Born To Lead: The Sal Aunese Story,” which was the number one sports documentary on CBS Sports and tells the story of the University of Colorado’s first Samoan quarterback who lead his team to a national championship.
Mr. Bigelow was recognized multiple times for his dedication and time by Columbine High School, Jefferson County and Fort Lewis College. After the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, Mr. Bigelow helped heal the community by planning and producing various events and raising funds to support the school and its students, including the first-day back-to-school event and a live Christmas show for a community healing event that engaged the participation of 15,000 people in his neighborhood.
Throughout the duration of his career, Mr. Bigelow’s most notable accomplishment was running the launch complex for the largest launch vehicles in the world at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. He attributes his success to being surrounded by outstanding leaders, mentors and team members, as well as his willingness to take risks and lead others. In the immediate future, he intends to continue helping establish deals with foreign countries, competing in bodybuilding competitions and spending more time with his grandchildren.
