With more than 10 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Guy has excelled as general manager and dealer principal of Coastal Chevrolet Cadillac Nissan in Pawleys Island, South Carolina since 2022. She began her career as a front desk assistant at Coastal Urgent Care in 2011. She initiated her involvement with Coastal Chevrolet Cadillac Nissan as a file clerk from 2013 to 2014, as a sales associate from 2015 to 2016, marketing manager from 2016 to 2017, and finance manager and director from 2017 to 2020.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Guy pursued an education at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2014. She completed an overview of the automotive dealership business program at the National Automobile Dealers Association Dealer Academy in 2017.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Guy has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She volunteered at Students Helping Honduras in Villa Soleada, El Progreso, Honduras in 2014 and was part of a mission team that traveled to the Shandon Presbyterian Church of Mwandi, Zambia from 2013 to 2014. She supported several local philanthropic projects, food drives, and after-school programs, and was featured in Millennium Magazine.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Guy remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She maintained involvement as social chair of the National Automobile Dealers Association in 2017. She was a member of the Young Dealer Group of the South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association and was a founding member of the Teach My People Technician Program. She participated in several 20 Group peer collaboration groups including Chevy, NCM Associates, Inc., NCM Associates, Inc., Nissan, NCM Associates, Inc., and the GM Women’s 20 Group from 2019 to 2021.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Guy has accrued several accolades throughout her career. Automotive News included her on their Top 40 Under 40 list in 2022. The University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business named her to the dean’s list and the president’s list, recognized her as an emerging leader, and presented her with the LIFE Scholarship and the Thornwell Scholarship.
