Shane Alan McNutt, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nudo, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business administration.
With many years of experience to his credit, Mr. McNutt has excelled as the vice president of sales and marketing for Nudo in Springfield, Illinois since 2022. In this position, he supervises 13 sales managers from around the country while handling various matters in the marketing department, attending high-level corporate meetings, and visiting customers. With an eye for profitability, he also assembles marketing and sales plans on an annual basis, ensures that individual territories for Nudo hit their goals, develops new markets and products, forecasts anticipated budgets and sales numbers. Likewise, Mr. McNutt is responsible for managing three companies under Nudo’s corporate umbrella, including Channels, Midwest Folding Products and Vitec.
Mr. McNutt was previously active with Nudo as the director of business development from 2015 to 2019 and the vice president of distribution from 2019 to 2022. Prior to these posts, he served in several roles at Marlite Inc. between 2008 and 2018, including as a project manager, the chain and distribution coordinator, the chain and distribution sales specialist, a territory sales specialist, a territory sales manager, and the director of business development, distribution and international. Moreover, he has contributed to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society as a volunteer since 2014. Mr. McNutt began his career as a sales representative for Albert Guarnieri & Company in New Philadelphia, Ohio from 2005 to 2008.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. McNutt pursued an education at The Ohio State University, completing coursework in electrical and electronics engineering in 2003. He eventually continued his academic efforts at Michigan State University, from which he earned a master’s certificate in business leadership and management at the Eli Broad College of Business in 2018. Soon thereafter, he obtained an Associate of Science in business administration and management at the Penn State World Campus in The Pennsylvania State University in 2020. Following these accomplishments, Mr. McNutt concluded his studies at The Pennsylvania State University in 2023, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business.
Mr. McNutt has attributed his wealth of success to his dedication. Initially working as a technician, he shifted his focus into sales with the encouragement of his administrator and eventually entered the building product industry in the years that followed. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud to have advanced in his professional and academic goals, having garnered his undergraduate degree while amassing millions of dollars in annual sales. Looking toward the future, Mr. McNutt hopes to continue growing and learning while potentially establishing his own woodworking business.
