CDR Jonathan C. Wright, senior director of business development at Reliance Partners, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business development.
With nearly 10 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Wright has excelled as senior director of business development at Reliance Partners since 2015. As such, he specializes in commercial transportation insurance and risk management. Prior to this position, he was active in the United States Navy from 2005 to 2013. He was stationed on ships in Japan and Florida and was deployed three times. He transitioned to the United States Navy Reserves, completing his service with the rank of commander. As an active-duty soldier, he spent a year as a liaison officer working with the ambassador at the U.S. Embassy in Ethiopia.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Wright pursued an education at Auburn University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary social science education in 2004. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He sat on the board of directors at the Young Men’s Christian Association of Chattanooga, contributed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and was a scout leader of the Boy Scouts of America.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Wright has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with Bronze Star for his service in Iraq with the United States Navy, and awarded the salesperson of the year by Reliance Partners in 2018 and 2019. He attributes his success to his parents, who instilled in him the value of hard work and education. His most notable achievement is working with small units of truckers at risk during the pandemic to find creative solutions to remain profitable.
