With 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Munster has excelled as a managing director of his own enterprise since 2018. In his role, he broadens the exposure for the management companies that he consults for by helping the managers to develop the distribution of networks both digitally and through direct contact. He keeps in touch with the compliance officers of the different firms to ensure that everything that goes out, especially in retail, is perfect. Mr. Munster began his career as vice president at Paine Webber from 1993 to 1997. He served as a managing director at the Clinton Group Inc. from 1997 to 2018 and Metacapital Management, L.P. from 2009 to 2012.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Munster pursued an education and earned a Bachelor of Science with the United States Coast Guard in 1983, garnering himself an Unlimited License as a mariner, with additional coursework in marketing and distribution. In his professional career, he employs and expands upon his critical skill set which includes financial markets, derivatives, equity derivatives, investments, entrepreneurship, hedge funds, and capital markets. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was vice chairman of his area’s Yacht Club.
Mr. Munster attributes his success to his tenacity, luck, meeting good managers and developing a reputation of integrity. His hobbies include playing the trumpet and trombone in a local band, boating, and participating in the yearly World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest. In the next three to five years, he aims to make the three funds he’s currently working with into a multi-billion dollar fund. Upon successful completion of that pursuit, he would like to do consulting or board work.
