He began his career as a marketing director and corporate vice president of financial services at Benefit Professionals from 2008 to 2010. He worked as regional human resources director at Waffle House, Inc. from 2010 to 2013 before transitioning to BB&T Insurance Holdings, Inc. as vice president of regional employee relations manager from 2013 to 2016. He was appointed to the position of chief executive officer and Co-founder of HOMEFIT from 2013 to 2017.
Mr. Crosby garnered expertise as senior human resources business partner at DexYP, previously known as YP – Cerberus Portfolio Company, from 2016 to 2017. He contributed to FirstKey Homes as a resource director of operations from 2017 to 2019, senior director and head of talent acquisition from 2019 to 2021, and head of talent experience in 2021. He garnered expertise as chief executive officer, emeritus, and adviser at HOMEFIT from 2017 to 2019 and as chief human resource officer at Sylvan Road Capital from 2022 to 2023.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Crosby pursued an education at Jacksonville State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business management in 2006. He concluded his studies at Auburn University, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in 2011. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the National Precast Concrete Association and the American Society of Concrete Contractors.
In the immediate future, Mr. Crosby intends to grow his organization’s market share and revenue. He intends to write a book about talent and culture when he has time away from his professional responsibilities. He hopes to continue his role as the chief executive officer of Concrete Careers and to become a multi-organizational leader.
